We are committed to reducing our environmental impact across everything we do.
Sustainability that goes beyond
Low-Carbon Hosting
Our data centres run on 100% renewable electricity and have done for many years. Six of our nine own data centres also use biofuels, meaning 99.8% of all energy used across our infrastructure came from renewable sources in 2025.
Water Efficiency
Water is a resource we take seriously. By avoiding water intensive cooling systems, our Water Usage Effectiveness score sits 99% below the industry average, keeping our infrastructure future proof.
Beyond our Data Centres
Our sustainability commitments extend to our offices around the world. We are targeting 100% renewable electricity across all our office locations by 2030, with 83% already achieved. We are also transitioning our entire company car fleet to electric vehicles, with 23.9% already making the switch.
Renewable Energy Without the Grid
Three of our nine own data centres generate their own solar energy on site. In 2025, we produced 2.8 GWh of renewable electricity ourselves, enough to power around 700 homes for a year.
Responsible Waste Management
We always look to extend the lifespan of our servers first, before reuse and recycling. In 2025, we recycled and reused 100% of all data centre IT hardware waste, working with specialist green IT partners.
