Our storage servers are fully dedicated servers, featuring fail-safe enterprise-grade storage for the highest possible reliability and performance. In addition to extensive HDD storage, discreet SSD storage with high I/O is also installed for the operating system. This enables faster boot times and doesn't affect the capacity or performance of your primary storage.
In order to ensure the permanent availability of your stored data, we use hard disk mirroring (RAID) for both the data and operating system storage. This ensures that your data is stored redundantly on several hard drives.
If you need extra security against data loss, you can add Visit Cloud Backup page from your server dashboard. With Cloud Backup, you schedule customised backups whenever you want. Everything is encrypted and stored georedundantly. Any data you transfer during the backup process is also encrypted.

What makes a storage server a better solution than NAS?
Network Attached Storage, or NAS, is a flexible standard solution and is basically just a computer in a network acting solely as a data storage system.
